Zebra bowl

This piece by Christine Mühlhan-Korner is made of strips of coloured glass of different widths and lengths, assembled like a jigsaw puzzle. The strips resemble the edges of rolled-out dough. The black-cream-white colour changes are condensed on one side and then loosen up on the other side in favour of the cream-white. The elliptical elegant deep shape allows a view of the no less exciting looking underside.
