Coral glass bowls

These pieces by Christine Mühlhan-Korner are a snapshot of glass fusion. Glass crumbs (glass pieces) were used in different sizes. They behave in different ways during the firing in the kiln with different movements, melting together at the same time as they move away from each other, creating a look reminiscent of corals. One of the bowls shown was made with white crumbs, the other two with different black crumbs. They are decorative pieces.
