English Gothic Rectory
This miniature structure is a one-twelfth-scale architectural interpretation of a modest Georgian brick house. The structure is made of wood and features decorative details derived from a Gothic revival style that was fashionable in England in the latter half of the 18th century. Fantastical crockets, crenellations and ogee arches are superimposed on a facade of rational proportions. The exterior is gessoed and finished with hand-painted brick and stone details.
