I-PAJ 3: Lavender

Lavender is a conical vessel formed using traditional plique-à-jour techniques. A mould of the object is created and fine silver wires are soldered in a pattern onto the surface. Coloured enamel pieces are inserted and melted into the pattern cells. The object is then polished. The colours and design express the beauty of lavender.
