I-PAJ 2: The Light of Forest

This is a conical vessel formed using traditional plique-à-jour techniques. A mould of the object is created and fine silver wires are soldered in a pattern onto the surface. Coloured enamel pieces are inserted and melted into the pattern cells. The object is then polished. The blue-green colours of the design aim to capture and express the beauty and moment when sunshine penetrates through the forest.
