Encadenadas

This series is crafted with silver filigree wires and gold rivets. The central pieces of each brooch are made from wood, shell, and cardboard. The techniques used are primarily soldering, assembly, and riveting. This series represents an abstraction of mermaids, whose name in Spanish etymologically means "chained."
