Floating Ink, Trodden Soil

This culinary knife is crafted from laminated steel of wrought iron wagon wheel rims, reclaimed plough tines and whiskey barrel strap layering over high carbon steel core. The handle features wind-felled Irish rippled sycamore handle with a cow horn bolster. Crafted in the spirit of tradition, this "nakiri" vegetable knife embodies the essence of this time-honoured technique. Every element used in its construction was sourced within a 10-mile radius of my forge, weaving together a rich tapestry of local history spanning over two centuries.
