Les coquillages

This series consists of glazed stoneware tiles fired at 1250°C. The tiles are covered with imprints in relief of shells collected in Brittany, from walks on the beach after the sea has left banks of shells behind. The tiles are made with a plaster moulding technique, the prints with a stoneware casting technique.
