Sponge City Day and Night

These soft, elongated porcelain vessels are cast from flat kitchen sponges sewn together to form textured moulds. Each piece varies in shape and colour, mimicking a city skyline with buildings reflecting the changing hues of the sky from day to night. Two of the integrated pieces made from the actual sponge moulds are camouflaged into the installation.
