Suburb No. 2

This ceramic artwork is created using the slab technique with white and coloured clay slabs. Fired in a wood kiln at 1300°C, wooden pieces were added after firing. The sculpture reflects Hasan Numan Suçağlar's memories of warm, loving homes in a shantytown.
