Wild birdhouse for blue tits 1

Both decorative and functional, this birdhouse is woven from willow on a metal frame. Its shape, volume, and entrance are designed to meet the bird’s needs. The removable top allows for easy cleaning. The willow variety used is Salix triandra, an unstripped, small-sized brown willow. The weaving technique, known as torche, is done without peeling or cutting. The intertwined willow branches act as a barrier against predators while also providing young birds with a perch before their first flight.
