Splinter

This table and steak knife's design is inspired by broken pieces of wood washed ashore by the waves.The Splinter retains a sharp, freshly broken edge. Intended to serve as both a functional utensil and a sculptural piece for the table, the knife is crafted using grinding, cutting and sanding techniques.
