Torso of female body

This wrapped porcelain torso is made partly with a plaster mould and partly sculpted by hand. It is silkscreen printed with blueprints of rockets to create a jarring juxtaposition of the natural curves of the human form and far-off and potentially terrifying technology. The piece belongs to the Dangerous Birds collection.
