This ceramic vessel was modelled using press mould and slab building techniques. A smooth matte ombré turquoise exterior with layered tempera contrasts with the knuckled gold leaf interior. Two perforations break the rim, and a sculptural line follows the top. Coire is Irish for cauldron and is pronounced que-rah.
