Traditional hen soup container

This piece is handmade in red clay, by the artisans of Julia Castillo’s workshop. It is a utilitarian container, which is traditionally used to serve soup. It consists of two parts: the body of the hen, with its two wings, and the lid which is the neck and the head of the hen.
