The angry son
This glass statue shows the upper body of a shouting man pointing and clenching his fists. The glass surface at the front of the body is very rough, whereas the statue's back is smooth. This figure was designed in a way that at exhibitions visitors are encouraged to wet the back gently. As the smooth glass becomes wet, it becomes transparent. The figure hides an inner figure who is very sad, covering its head in a seated position. The statue was made with the kiln casting technique.
