Bird-women

The work is composed of two vessels and brings together two ancient techniques: pottery and basketry.These pieces are a reinterpretation of the ketrumetawe, a zoomorphic pottery piece of the Mapuche culture. They were masterfully constructed through basketry. The red-copper and white-silver colours also speak of materiality and symbolize a dance between a mother and a daughter.
