Shell-shaped stoneware

This stoneware shell shaped piece is part of Iosifina's Flow series in which she explores curves. She draws her inspiration from the movement of an embrace and the warmth that this action provides, as well as natural plant and shell forms. Everything is found in the balance between opposites: the inner becomes outer, the concave becomes convex and the bright alternates with the dark. The coexistence of these opposites alludes to the complexity and harmony of nature itself.
