Labradorite chameleon on tree

This chameleon was hand carved from a single labradorite and finely polished. The iridescent optical effect of this rare stone, known as 'labradorescence', is perfectly suited to the representation of such an animal. A lot of Hans-Ulrich's creations deal with wildlife, which is as versatile as his carvings.
