Lost and Found – large Mars-red vase

This tall vase is part of Lukáš Novák's Lost and Found collection. The red tones of the glass vase are evocative of the sand red surface of Mars. The Lost and Found collection focuses on the revival of lithyalin glass, from which each vase is hand blown. Lithyalin glass was developed by Friedrich Egermann in the late 18th century and has almost been forgotten.
