Marusa

Handcrafting a Marusa felt of great responsibility for Daniel considering the prestigious one that already exists in Syracuse. After careful studies, Daniel decided to collaborate with Francesca Vaccaro to sew the clothes and Daniele Carruba to paint the face features. Some parts of the brass armor were worked on in lead plate, and others, such as the shield was made using the post embossing technique. Heeled shoes are unusual on puppets, but imposed by the Syracusan tradition.
