Maturation

Maturation is a series of 12 wooden spinning tops in black color, crafted from wenge wood, ash wood and ebony wood. As they stand side by side, representing order and chaos, these merely are the representation of the most powerful forces in nature. The world spins like a freshly spun top, with its unique dance, like the curve roads on your fingertip. Though it strives for stability, chaos is inherently unstable. The top wobbles and shifts, rebalancing itself with each change, leading to new balance, new dance, and new eras. Stability returns until the next chaos. Yet. there is always the risk of entropy, the decline into stillness. The top may slow and stop, marking the final fall and unique descent. Restarting the spin requires great force. like the world going through periods of change.
