Throne of the Rose Fairy

This is a large enclosed ecosystem of a fantasy world, brought into reality using natural materials and inspired by the legends of Fairies. The main throne-like structure is made from diverse bones and skeletal structures reproducing a flower-like design on which a hierarchy of fairies made from real insect parts are dancing around and seem to be frozen in time. The use of natural materials gives the elements of the dome the lifelike quality that the Victorian parlor domes attempted to replicate while maintaining the sense of fantasy the discovered world may lack.
