Woodcarver Lara Domeneghetti based in Norway & German fellow Antonia Barth
Growing up in the Italian Alps, Lara learned woodworking in her grandfather’s workshop before training in Italy, Germany and the UK. Now based in Norway, she works to ensure that handmade artistry endures by mentoring and teaching. She is dedicated to helping revive Norway’s emblematic Dragestil craftsmanship.
Antonia discovered her passion for woodworking at a young age, then studied geography and philosophy before completing an apprenticeship in carpentry. Her journey in craftsmanship is fueled by her appreciation for handmade work and time-honoured skills, and she aims to communicate traditional craft techniques and create new works that resonate with contemporary times.
