Silversmith Juan Garrido Gayubo based in Spain & Spanish fellow Rocío Ortiz Vara
Juan joined his family’s silversmithing workshop (established 1955) in 1990. Alongside his sister Paloma, he has upheld the Garrido reputation for and dedication to distinctive design and exceptional craftsmanship, with their work included in major collections and patronised by the Spanish Royal Family and the Vatican.
Rocío is a trained metal sculptor and studied at Escuela de Arte La Palma. Determined to perfect the skills and techniques of silversmithing, particularly in chasing and embossing, she seeks to combine tradition with innovation, with the professional goal of bridging sculpture and fine metalwork.
