In this masterclass given by Lucas Nicolao, you will explore the tools and technologies used in ceramics and create one or two functional objects using stoneware (cups, bowls, vases). Modelling techniques such as pinching, coiling, and/or slab building will be taught. Afterwards, you will be able to choose from a variety of engobes to apply to your creation. At the end of the session, the pieces will be left to dry in preparation for the first firing. They will be glazed and undergo a second high-temperature firing. Two weeks later, once they are ready to be collected, you will receive a notification to come retrieve your finished piece. Please note that the price includes materials, tools, and both firings.
