Guided tour of the paper mill with demonstration

Paper manufacturer Sastres Paperers, founded in 2014, aims to promote the craft of papermaking by offering an insight on paper working in the Catalan region, from its historical beginnings to today. The guided tour starts with the visit of the old mill of La Farga that is over 335 years old. Visitors are then taken to Lago de Banyoles, where the last paper manufacturer in the region, will carry out a demonstration of paper being handmade by craftsmen Jordi Torrent and Diego López. During the visit, visitors may try their hand at making their own paper designs.
