Zsófia Karsai invites you to a hands-on ceramics course where you will learn a unique technique for creating a board game, a box, an animal or a wall piece. Under Zsófia’s guidance you will start with a special surface design and apply it to the object. You will then use stoneware clay and coloured engobes to create your piece before firing them in an electric kiln at 1200°C. Please note that if you wish to create a wall piece, you will have to book another session to gild the burned-out wall picture using gold leaf. Once your piece is completed you will be able to pick it up or Zsófia can send it to you at your own expense. Tools and materials will be provided and all levels are welcome to join in. This workshop lasts 4 hours and costs 130 EUR per person and per session. Please note that this course needs to be booked in advance and is suitable for only two people at a time.
