Make your own dreamcatcher in Kyoto

with Toru Tsuji | Kyoto Higashiyama Ward, Japan

Learn how to wire sculpt with kikudashi

Toru Tsuji and his team invite you to craft a dreamcatcher with the kikudashi technique, which creates a beautiful flower pattern when woven. You can choose the fabrics, beads and feathers that you want to decorate, and you can take home the finished dreamcatcher as a keepsake of your time in Kyoto. After the crafting session, you will enjoy a relaxing tea experience using Kanaamitsuji's popular circle tea infuser. Toru's team will guide you through brewing a delicious cup of tea, and introduce you to the featured tea of the day. This is an experience that requires the use of fingertips with a lot of concentration, so it is targeted towards teenagers and adults. Larger groups are welcome upon request. This course runs from Thursday to Tuesday, between 10:30 and 15:30, and requires booking 10 days in advance.
