The pursuit of quality handcrafted gloves

The Maison Fabre glove factory was created in 1924 by the family's great-grandfather, Etienne. As a young mounted policeman, Etienne – inspired by the white gloves worn by the riders of the time – decided to become a glover. He quickly established himself as a renowned craftsman in the Aveyron region. Over the years, his company has continuously expanded its market, most notably by entering the fashion and luxury sectors.

Today, one grandson, Olivier Fabre, is president of the company, and another grandson (and Olivier's brother) Jean Marc, runs the company – striving to preserve and perpetuate its century-old savoir-faire. The secret of its excellence lies in the skills of each craftsman mastering their own discipline. Leather cutting, stitching, hand sewing and embroidery; the ancestral know-how counts several specific specialties. Through its two boutiques and its online shop, Maison Fabre now offers a rich collection of gloves, ranging from equestrian to driving styles to more classic pieces – in a variety of quality leathers.
