Bacto-Muri

These artworks are described by Anca Ion as nature's protective sponges, depicting 'strange creatures that make the world a more attractive, surprising, rich and interesting place'. As the natural sponges are practically invisible to the naked eye, Anca aimed to make them visible by using ceramic material.
