Things Like That

Things Like That forms part of a larger series of sculptural jugs. Mike uses the jug form as a starting point to explore the edges of, and the connections between design, function, narrative and art. The freedom to play fast and freely with the elements of the jug, the use of found objects and occasional deconstruction allows him to investigate form, colour, surface and the relationship between the parts.
