In Richard Bravo's workshop, participants will have the opportunity to observe and carry out the processes involved in crafting wooden replicas of many bird species. Richard is both a woodcarver and a painter, and has extensive experience in the field. Participants will be introduced to the techniques for each step of the process and the methods to be employed. Various types of wood and the necessary conditions for their use will also be showcased and approximately 15 steps will be demonstrated, depending on the bird being carved. "We aim to educate people about the types of birds they can find in their surroundings and emphasise the importance of environmental protection and conservation," says Richard. The workshop lasts 12 hours divided into six sessions each lasting two hours. Each session costs 35 EUR per person.
