Explore behind the scenes of a genuine working mill, where all the cloths are hand woven, and all the garments are artisan made. View each step of the process involved in creating throws, garments and accessories. In 1979, Studio Donegal was established to preserve the traditional craft of hand weaving. Self-guided visits to the mill are free and visitors are welcome to discover the mill and ask questions of our skilled craftspeople. As a working mill, demonstrations are not offered, but visitors will experience the work happening on the day of their visit. The mill offers guided group tours if booked in advance.
