Tour a temple of stained glass

Atelier Mestdagh is proud to be the oldest stained glass workshop in Belgium. For over 20 years the team has regularly welcomed groups into the workshop to show them the enchanting world of stained glass. During this two-hour walk through the workshop, visitors will learn about the history of Atelier Mestdagh, the major works of in-house designer Ingrid Meyvaert, the company's collaboration with external designers and artists, and their conservation and restoration projects. Visitors get a clear overview of how stained glass is made, from the first sketch to the finished artwork. Atelier Mestdagh’s intention is to open visitors' eyes and minds, to make a wide audience fall in love with this beautiful craft again, to show how modern or restored stained glass has a place in private and public houses, and to demonstrate why stained glass can be expensive. Maximum two groups of up to 25 people each.
