Coiling technique ceramic workshop in Nicosia

Ceramicist Elia Neophytou invites you to her workshop, Studio Kuza, to create a vase using the coiling technique. During this 5-hour moderate intensity course, you will explore the technique in depth and create a medium-sized vessel which will be fired and shipped to your house. With this technique, you will start by rolling the clay into coils and layering these on top of one another to build up the desired form of the vessel, before smoothing and compressing to form a solid structure. Under Elia's guidance, you will have complete control over the building process, as the coiling method allows a lot of creativity and versatility in terms of shape and size. Please note that this experience costs 160 EUR per person and shipping fees are not included. The studio must be contacted in advance to schedule the day and time.
