Improvement course on word embroidery in London

Embroiderer Rosalind Wyatt holds a course in her studio in a beautiful private garden. In this workshop, she guides participants to discover the connection between writing and embroidery. Her goal is to bring creative vision to the everyday action of writing through playful looking, tracing and drawing of words. Simple stitching exercises will be showcased to recreate handwritten mark into embroidery stitch by stitch. Rosalind will share her experience with suggestions and tips in how to make an embroidery look fresh and alive. This workshop costs 150 GBP per person, including materials.
