Learn to weave with pre-Columbian techniques

Weaving was a major art form in the pre-Columbian world, captivating and astonishing people worldwide. This course, taught by textile artisan Paola Moreno, teaches techniques from the Wari and Moche cultures, Moche and Chimú openwork techniques, and Chimú circular tapestry. Classes are held in the artisan's workshop and are group sessions with personalised attention tailored to each student's skills and interests. It is a practical workshop that includes visual materials to contextualise each of the techniques. This workshop consists of four sessions, each lasting three hours.
