Hot glass workshop near Gmunden

The Glass Maker Space is a melting pot for people keen on working with hot glass. The workshop aims to make the glassmaker’s craft accessible to everyone and consciously revive glass as an art and craft material. The hot glass workshops are for curious and creative people aged over eight years old. After an introduction, you’ll design your own glass objects (glass flower, paperweight, drinking glass) and get to know the hot glass technique. Participants learn how to absorb the hot, liquid glass mass from the kiln with the glassmaker's pipe and explore how shape and colour transfer into the glass.
