Inspired by the people who walk through her studio doors as well as by nature and trees, Rosella Schembri attentively crafts ceramics that seek to convey unique feelings each time they are used. In this four-day practical course, the aim is to gain confidence in hand building pots that are higher and wider than usual. The sessions will include a series of discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations and the actual making of the pots, with one day spent on coiling, and another on surface treatment to prepare the pot for glazing. All materials are included in the price, including one fired piece.
