Ceramics workshop in Aarhus

Mette Maya Gregersen is experienced in conducting ceramic workshops in her studio in the Danish countryside. Now she can also guide you in making your own ceramic sculpture. Using hand building techniques, plaster moulds and other materials, you will be able to create a unique organic and nature-inspired ceramic sculpture, using stoneware clay with coloured slips. Over the course of one day you will be introduced to various forms, additions, press moulding and hand building techniques, as well as to the application of oxides and slips to wet clay for colour effects. Each piece will then be single fired.
