Ceramic taster class in London

Manos Kalamenios has two decades of working in ceramics – an experience which he now wishes to share with others. In his studio not far from central London, Manos offers a ceramic taster class, where he will teach his students to build a clay vessel. The students will learn the basic properties of stoneware clay and the millennia-old technique for hand building a vessel, while using their hands as tools. They will also learn surface decoration techniques. The final product will be fired and glazed for the students to take home. Please bring a sketchbook and any other reference materials.
