Every summer, Danish weaver Helle Rude Trolle organises botanical dyeing workshops in her studio and in the area around the small island of Samsø. Depending on the length of the course, it will focus on dyeing with the plants that can be found on the island and might also include working with imported Indigo blue dye. Dyeing with the blue dyestuff can be a subject for a workshop by itself or be combined with the botanical dyeing. The full-day course includes a lunch break of an hour. Helle will provide drinks during the day and can order sandwiches for lunch (not included in the fee).
