Basic ceramics course in Przyszowice

This short course is an introduction to the world of ceramics. It is guided by the celebrated Polish craftsman Adam Sobota in his Przyszowice-located studio. A great advantage is that Adam touches upon theory and practice. Visitors will learn about the technical side of the craft (types of clays, firing methods, methods of glazing and engobing, and so on) as well as understand the designing process. The course focuses on using the potter’s wheel and gives participants insights into various techniques of manual shaping. Each course is individually tailored to the experience and interest of the visitors. It is organised by an appointment with the artisan.
