Overgaard & Dyrman (O&D), the Danish design studio founded by Jasper Overgaard and Christian Dyrman, is a testament to the power of collaboration and craftsmanship. Their story began in 2005, when the two met at Aalborg University, and their creative partnership blossomed at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Driven by a shared passion for organic forms, luxury materials, and precision details, O&D was officially established in 2013, offering high-quality furniture that merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Their debut creation, the Wire Dining Chair, became the foundation of the O&D identity. Early production was deeply personal, with Christian welding in a repurposed hen house and Jasper crafting leather in his childhood bedroom.
To this day, each piece is made-to-order, stamped, and numbered by hand. This meticulous attention to detail reflects the atelier's dedication to creating products that stand the test of time. As O&D grew, so did their vision, culminating in collections like the Circle Collection, which showcases their mastery of diverse materials such as wood and upholstery.
